Building #1 rep Jim Pence put on his Master of Ceremonies and Programming Extraordinaire hat yesterday and with his wife Liz, hosted the 1st annual Building #1 summer potluck in their backyard.
I weaseled an invitation for me and Robbie by promising to take photos for this VPTA blog. Pence’s neighbor Jowane Howard also snuck in, claiming seniority of some kind since she’s lived in the VPTA longer than anybody.
Other building #1 residents who bellied up to the potluck bar: Jerry and Ann Krause, Dennis and Sandy McClintock, and Scott McMillan.

Thanks Griff and Robbie for joining Building #1 in our potluck. Was good fun and enjoyed having you with us. Let’s hope the other buildings catch the fever of encouraging good neighbor relations and consider doing something similar later this summer or next. Great pictures too !
Thanks for the slide show. One of the best parts of living here is having such wonderful neighbors and as we all can attest there are some good cooks among us! Food and conversation made for a very satisfying time together. We encourage other buildings to get together and share some food. Throughout human history, sharing food is one of the best ways for peace on earth and good will toward each other.
